With a camera in his hands since the age of six—when he began capturing family moments at home—Eugenio Salcedo discovered early on that his way of seeing the world would be through light and storytelling. His journey evolved from intimate beginnings into the professional field, working with newspapers and communication magazines, where he refined his ability to document reality with both sensitivity and precision. This stage shaped his documentary vision, which later evolved into a deeply human and artistic approach. Throughout his career, he has had the opportunity to photograph artists on international stages such as the Grammy Awards, as well as document over 500 destination weddings in locations including New York, San Diego, Los Cabos, Playa del Carmen, Cancún, the Dominican Republic, Tepoztlán, Cuernavaca, and Mexico City, among others. In addition, over more than 20 years working in top destinations such as Cancún, Playa del Carmen, the Dominican Republic, and Los Cabos, he has photographed more than 10,000 sessions of couples and families—developing a unique ability to connect, direct, and capture authentic emotion in every setting. As the founder of Eugenio Salcedo Photography, he has built a brand that goes beyond traditional photography, transforming each event into an experience of connection, authenticity, and celebration.
